Gabriel Valle, MD, is an American board certified internal medicine and Nephrologist physician practicing in Ft Lauderdale area since 1993.

Dr. Gabriel Valle completed both his Internal Medicine training and his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. During his time there, he was chosen both Chief Resident in Internal Medicine and Chief Administrative Fellow in Nephrology. He also completed a mini fellowship at Emory University in Renal Sonography. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and in addition, is certified as a Specialist in Hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension. He is the founder and President/CEO of The Kidney and Hypertension Group of South Florida, a single specialty Nephrology practice serving the South Florida area since 1990. His group is the only Hypertension Center in Florida certified by ASH/AHA as a Center of Excellence.

Dr. Valle is an Affiliated Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and is also the Nephrology Subspecialty Education Coordinator for the University of Miami at Holy Cross Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Valle is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor of Medicine in Nephrology at Nova Southeastern University School of Medicine.

Dr. Valle has been named one of “America’s Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly for 19 consecutive years in both Broward and Palm Beach Counties. He has also been recognized as a “Best Doctor” in Kidney Medicine by The New York Times and U.S. News and World Report. Dr. Valle is also included on the list of the “Top 10 Nephrologists in the World” by Rate MD. He counts as one of his greatest achievements that so many physicians trust him for their own personal kidney medicine related concerns.

Dr. Valle is a contributing author of the medical textbook “The Kidney in Liver Disease”, as well as author of numerous publications in peer reviewed journals, including original clinical research. He is an international speaker on topics such as Kidney Health and Peritoneal Dialysis. His areas of expertise and interest include: Comprehensive Chronic Kidney Disease Management; Complex Hypertension; Diabetes and the Kidney; Transplantation; Patient Satisfaction, Well Being and Quality of Life; Home Dialysis; Innovation in Healthcare; and Telemedicine.
